Former Vice President and former NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is scheduled to visit Wasa Amenfi East on Saturday, 1st November 2025, to meet party delegates.
The meeting will take place at the Wasa Bawdie Methodist Church at exactly 2:00 PM. During the gathering, Dr. Bawumia is expected to speak directly to the delegates on why they should support him as the NPP flagbearer once again.
Mr. Samuel Amuah, the NPP Communications Officer in Wasa Amenfi East, confirmed to Preko News that the event is strictly for delegates and not open to the general party membership.
Supporters of the former Vice President are expected to turn out in large numbers to witness his address, as he seeks to make a strong case to delegates in the constituency.
This visit underscores Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to directly engaging with the party’s decision-makers at the grassroots level and rallying support for his bid as the NPP flagbearer.
