The Obantapa Foundation, under the management of Naanana Bar and Restaurant, has extended a kind gesture to elderly members of the New Fountain Church in Wasa Akropong. The foundation donated various food items and essential household goods to support the well-being of the aged in the community.
The presentation was led by Madam Angela Ahimah, wife of the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Wasa Amenfi East, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah.
Speaking during the donation, Madam Ahimah explained that the gesture forms part of the foundation’s commitment to giving back to society. She emphasized that the community plays an important role in their success, and it is only right to show appreciation through such charitable acts.
“It is our responsibility to give back to the people because they are the same individuals who buy from us and support our business,” Madam Ahimah said.
She added that the foundation has already made several donations to individuals and schools in different parts of the municipality since the initiative began. The support to the New Fountain Church, she noted, is another step in their continuous effort to touch lives and promote community welfare.
Members of the church expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Madam Ahimah and the Obantapa Foundation for their generosity and concern for the elderly.
The donation event was filled with joy, prayers, and appreciation, reflecting the spirit of love and unity within the Wasa Akropong community.
