The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Wassa Amenfi East, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah (ObiaaBedidi), has officially cut sod for the construction of a new school building for B-School. The project, which will be situated on the A-School land, is a major step toward improving educational infrastructure in the municipality.
Construction to Be Completed in Six Months
The MCE announced that the project is expected to be completed within six months, as funds for the work are already available. The contract has been awarded to Stinasco Wood Work and Construction, a respected local company owned by a proud son of Wassa Akropong.
Hon. Nana Ebbah stated that choosing a local contractor helps support community businesses and promotes job creation within the municipal area.
Students to Relocate After Completion
Once the new school building is completed, students of B-School will be relocated to the new facility. This move will free up the current site to allow the construction of the anticipated mini stadium, a development many residents have been eagerly waiting for.
MCE Reaffirms Commitment to Education and Development
Addressing residents and stakeholders, Hon. Nana Ebbah reaffirmed the assembly’s commitment to improving learning conditions for children across Wassa Amenfi East. He stressed that the new school building forms part of a larger agenda to modernize educational infrastructure and promote development in the municipality.
He assured the public that the project will be completed on schedule due to the availability of funds and the capacity of Stinasco Wood Work and Construction.
