The Paramount Chief of Wassa Amenfi Traditional Area, Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II, has offered MTN Ghana a plot of land to build a modern office in Wasa Akropong.
Tetrete made this announcement when staff from MTN visited him to donate cash and assorted items in support of the upcoming Adim Keseɛ Festival.
According to the Paramount Chief, the majority of people in the Amenfi East Municipality use MTN services, yet the community does not have a modern and well-equipped MTN office. He said this affects access to quality customer service for his people.
Tetrete explained that because of this need, he is ready to give MTN a plot of land so they can put up a proper office to serve the community. He emphasized that the development of Amenfi is his priority, and any institution that wants to improve services in the area will receive his support.
The MTN team expressed appreciation for the warm reception and the Chief’s commitment to development.
