Fresh reports reaching Preko News indicate that the woman assaulted by an alleged military officer at a pharmacy within Burma Camp is the daughter of a former Provost Marshal of the Ghana Armed Forces Military Police.
The Provost Marshal is a senior officer responsible for maintaining law and order, discipline, and internal investigations within the Armed Forces.
The alleged attacker, identified as Williams Mensah, was captured on CCTV not dressed in military uniform while physically assaulting both the female customer — believed to be the former Provost’s daughter — and a male pharmacy attendant.
The altercation reportedly began when Mensah demanded a refund of about ₵65 for medication he had earlier sent someone to purchase.
He has since been arrested, and military authorities are said to be taking the matter seriously as investigations continues.
