Residents of Obuasi have arrested two men accused of selling fake medicines, even targeting military officers. The incident sheds light on the growing problem of counterfeit drugs in the country.
The two suspects, who said they are originally from Benin, currently live in Binsere. They reportedly produce and sell unlabelled medicines from there.
Authorities have been informed and are expected to investigate the matter further. Residents are being urged to be cautious when buying medicines and to report any suspicious activities to the police.
