The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Wasa Amenfi East, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah, has assured residents of Wasa Akropong that steps are being taken to restore power to areas affected by faulty transformers.
Speaking on the Asona Morning Show, Hon. Nana Ebbah said that he, together with the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Nicholas Amankwaah, is working closely with the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to fix the damaged transformers and ensure stable electricity supply to the community.
He explained that as Wasa Akropong continues to grow and expand, there is a greater need to extend electricity to new areas and strengthen the power system to meet increasing demand.
Hon. Nana Ebbah assured residents that the government remains committed to improving electricity supply across the municipality and will continue collaborating with ECG to provide reliable and stable power for both homes and businesses.
