Madam Harriet, the woman seen being assaulted in a disturbing viral video, has finally spoken publicly about the shocking abuse she suffered at the hands of her husband, Odartey Lamptey.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with NDA, the visibly traumatized mother revealed that the beating captured on video was only a small part of what actually happened on that dreadful day.
According to Harriet, the abuse began after her husband accused her of cheating. Filled with anger and suspicion, he attacked her in ways she describes as cruel, humiliating, and unbearable.
She revealed that Odartey inserted raw pepper into her private parts, causing intense pain and emotional distress. Harriet said the act left her crying and begging for help, but her husband showed no mercy.
She further explained that after the painful assault, he forced himself on her, turning her suffering into what she described as “a nightmare I will never forget.”
Harriet said the experience has left her deeply emotionally wounded, adding that she fears for her safety and the safety of her children.
Her story has sparked outrage across social media, with many Ghanaians calling for justice and stronger protection for victims of domestic violence.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the matter.
