The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Wasa Amenfi East, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah, has praised his predecessor, Hon. Frederick Korankye, popularly known as KK Korankye, for his contribution towards the municipality’s outstanding performance in the 2024 District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT).
According to Hon. Ebbah, the foundation laid by the former MCE played an important role in the municipality’s success, which led to Wasa Amenfi East receiving over GHC 10.5 million under the DPAT IX results.
Speaking in an interview with Agya Yaw Obeng Preko on Asona FM, Hon. Ebbah said,
> “I want to use this opportunity to thank the former MCE, Hon. Frederick Korankye. He also did his best before I came in to continue, and I can’t take him away from this performance.”
His comments received positive reactions from listeners. During the phone-in segment, several callers commended the MCE for showing humility and acknowledging the efforts of his predecessor.
The recognition by Hon. Ebbah has been widely seen as a sign of unity and maturity in leadership, aimed at promoting development and teamwork within the Wasa Amenfi East Municipality.
