He explained that the budget discussion and approval would take place this Thursday, and one of the key issues to be raised during the meeting will be the current state of the abandoned cassava factory.
> “When we meet on Thursday for our General Assembly meeting, we will pass the 2026 budget, and I will personally raise the issue of the collapsed cassava factory for proper discussion,” Hon. Amoah said.
He stressed that the cassava factory remains a major concern for the people of Wassa Amenfi East, as it was established to create jobs and boost local economic activities but has since been left to deteriorate.
Hon. Amoah assured residents that he will continue to push for answers and action to ensure the factory is revived and serves its intended purpose.
