The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Wasa Amenfi East, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah, has made it clear that he has no problems with the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Hon. Nicholas Amankwaah.
Speaking on the Asona Morning Show hosted by Agya Yaw Obeng Preko, Hon. Ebbah stated that he maintains a good working relationship with the MP. He explained that there are times when he even consults the MP on where certain development projects should be directed in the municipality.
During the interview, Agya Yaw Obeng Preko asked the MCE if his frequent mention of the MP’s name meant that there were no misunderstandings between them. Hon. Ebbah replied, “Yes, I have no issues with the MP.”
His comments come at a time when there have been public speculations about a possible rift between the two leaders. However, the MCE’s statement has cleared the air, assuring the people of Wasa Amenfi East that both leaders are working together to promote development in the municipality.
